Bruno lives next to a prison camp and sees thousands of people in the same boring blue and white striped pyjamas. As he is still very young he doesn't understand that it's a prison camp and he thinks that they are very lucky because there and thousands of people they can talk to. But what Bruno doesn't know is how they have suffered.
